About Our Founders
Amanda Conly and Corey Sawchuk arrived in the Comox Valley as strangers, bringing with them only a dream and the determination to build something meaningful. In those early days, they had no connections -just a deep belief in the power of community. As Amanda recalls, “Two strangers moving to this community, starting a business, not knowing anyone here... and they all gave us a chance.” That generosity sparked a life-changing commitment: to give back and help others experience the same kind of support they received.
With no children of their own, Amanda and Corey envisioned a different kind of legacy - one built on impact. That vision became the Infinite Horizons Foundation: a philanthropic endeavour designed to create lasting change and empower future generations.
Inspired by Corey’s involvement with the Community Foundation of Northern Alberta, they established an endowment gift fund that allows them to direct their charitable giving personally and purposefully. From environmental protection and healthcare improvement to community education and youth support, Amanda and Corey are dedicated to helping key causes flourish.
More than just a foundation, Infinite Horizons is a reflection of Amanda and Corey’s values and heartfelt gratitude. By thoughtfully guiding how their contributions are used, they’re nurturing a future where their generosity continues to ripple outward — shaping a stronger, more compassionate community for years to come.

Her career began in 2004 in a humble yet pivotal role—assisting her husband in the finance office of a dealership. What started as a behind-the-scenes introduction quickly evolved into a calling. Amanda realized early on that while the retail floor wasn’t where she thrived, the operational and financial heart of the business was. Fueled by curiosity, discipline, and a deep-rooted work ethic, she charted her path toward leadership, eventually rising to the role of controller and later dealership owner.
Amanda holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Accounting, blending formal education with real-world experience to lead with both strategy and integrity. Her leadership style is hands-on, empowering, and rooted in the belief that success is built from the inside out.
Beyond the boardroom, Amanda has given back to her community by volunteering as a high school volleyball coach—mentoring young athletes and demonstrating the same commitment to teamwork and growth that defines her professional life.
Amanda’s story is one of rising through the ranks, trusting your instincts, and carving out your own definition of success in a traditionally male-dominated industry. Her mission now is to continue growing her businesses while inspiring others—especially women—to believe in the value of their own unique path.
