Infinite Horizons Foundation Launches “The Slice”
We're excited to share that The Slice, Infinite Horizons Foundation's newest summer giving campaign, has been featured by the Comox Valley Record.
Rooted in the simple joy of sharing something sweet, The Slice is designed to bring generosity, connection, and community spirit into workplaces across Vancouver Island and beyond.
Uncorked: The First Pour
When Amanda and I sat down after Uncorked and reflected on the evening, we found ourselves talking less about the event itself and more about the people who filled the room.
The wine was wonderful. The conversations were engaging. The silent auction was active. But what stood out most was the sense of community that existed throughout the evening.
Friends reconnecting.
New relationships being formed.
People from different backgrounds and experiences gathering together around a shared belief that meaningful things can happen when good people come together.
That was exactly what we had hoped for.
Pan‑Roasted Chicken with Herbed Goat Cheese & Roasted Grapes
This dish is the kind of quietly luxurious dinner that feels special without demanding a whole afternoon in the kitchen. Juicy, golden‑crisp chicken meets a tangy, herb‑flecked goat cheese spread, and then - because life should have little surprises - sweet roasted grapes get spooned over the top. The result is a beautiful balance of savory, creamy, bright, and gently sweet, with every element doing its part without overshadowing the others.
Strengthening Local Healthcare: Building a Healthier Vancouver Island
Infinite Horizons Foundation supports local healthcare access and infrastructure, improving wellbeing and resilience for communities across Vancouver Island.
Miso‑Butter Salmon with Ginger Coconut Purée & Charred Broccolini
This dish brings together bold, clean flavors in a way that feels both comforting and contemporary. Rich miso‑butter salmon meets a velvety ginger‑coconut purée, while charred broccolini adds brightness and crunch. A dry Riesling ties it all together, cutting through the richness and lifting every aromatic note.
Protecting Vancouver Island’s Environment: A Commitment to a Sustainable Future
From conservation and sustainability to education, Infinite Horizons Foundation supports environmental initiatives that safeguard Vancouver Island’s natural heritage.
Crispy Duck Breast with Blackberry‑Balsamic Glaze & Sage-Scented Sweet Potato Purée
This dish blends crisp duck, a bright blackberry–balsamic glaze, and smooth sage‑scented sweet potato purée into a beautifully balanced plate that feels special without being fussy. Paired with a ripe, berry‑forward Grenache, every element shines—savory, sweet, and tangy in perfect harmony.

Why a Charitable Gift Fund Matters for Our Community
At Infinite Horizons, we believe community is built through shared care and collective generosity. That’s why we’re creating a charitable gift fund, a lasting way to support local needs not just today, but well into the future. More than a single act of giving, it’s a foundation for ongoing impact, ensuring compassion and support are always within reach when our community needs them most.
